This attractive 7.8 hectare site in the southeast corner of Friesland and offers excellent walking and cycling opportunities in the Friese Wouden. The mood is very relaxed. This rural campsite is set among broad leaved trees, with pitches for tents or caravans between the trees. There are also a number of attractive camping pitches for visitors. Campers and visitors alike are permitted to bring their pets (dogs and cats) to Kuinderloo! The closest town is Oosterwolde.
Options for daytrips in the vicinity include the flea market at Makkinga (March-October), various cycling and walking routes, canoeing, museums, Noorderdierenpark Emmen zoo and Appelscha amusement park. The site is open from May to September. You have to book in advance. NFN pass is obligatory. The site is affiliated with the NFN and is managed by the Lotus naturist federation.
