Bussloo (de Kuiter)
This site includes a total of around 10 hectares of sunbathing area, interspersed by woodland areas along a long lake for public recreation. It is secluded, yet open, with sunny and shaded spots. The water ranges in depth from 0.5 m to 3 m, and the swimming area is demarcated by float lines.
Access: By bus, take the Apeldoorn-Zutphen service and get out at a stop on Zutphensestraat, which is about 1.5 km from the site. By bicycle or car from Zutphensestraat (N345), take Withagenweg and turn right onto Bloemenksweg to entrance no. 6. The car park is 150 m away and is open all year. A parking fee applies during the high season. Good access for disabled people.
Reported complaints
In the past, the NFN repeatedly received complaints about sexual harassment. After consultation with the NFN, the RGV in Bussloo, which manages nine recreation areas in Gelderland, now identifies two telephone numbers to phone for complaints. One is the general number for the police, the other for site manager or his deputy. The numbers can be found on the announcement board near the kiosk.
Facilities
There are toilets, a food and drink concession, a first aid post and a public telephone. There is supervision during the high season. Elsewhere in the recreation area, there are windsurfing facilities, a restaurant, and numerous other facilities for play and education.Address details:
