Natukreek

NederlandsDuitsFrans

Everything at the 8.5 hectare Natukreek site is designed around peace and quiet, space, relaxation and enjoyment of the sun, wind, air and water. Natukreek is on the banks of the Brielse Meer, which used to be a salt water estuary, with Den Briel, i.e. the Geuzenstad (Sea Beggars Town) at the centre. It is now an ideal freshwater recreation area behind the delta dikes. The closest town and city are Vlaardingen and Rotterdam, respectively. In the immediate vicinity of Natukreek, there are the Delta Works network of flood defence structures, Rotterdam (Europe's largest port), old fortified towns (such as Brielle and Hellevoetsluis), and long stretches of beaches/naturist beaches. The surroundings are ideal for cycling, fishing, diving, waterskiing or windsurfing. Natukreek has permanent pitches suitable for mobile homes, chalets and holiday bungalows. Seasonal pitches are also available for touring caravans, and there are short  and long stay camping pitches. The site is open all year round. Mobile homes and a holiday home are available for hire. The site is affiliated with the NFN.

Facilities

Toilets and hot and cold showers are available. The pitches offer access to electricity. The site is easily accessible for disabled people. Visitors can enjoy the restaurant, which offers a limited menu, drinks, snacks and terrace with magnificent view across the water. The closest supermarkets are in Brielle (4 km) and Zwartewaal (3 km). Young visitors can go to the Speelhol, which offers a table tennis, games, hobby areas and videos. There is of course a beach and bathing area. There are various sports options on the site or in the immediate vicinity.
